In arbitrary fashion, I now have the 26 domains that I will be focusing on for the duration of the year and possibly longer until they are all fleshed out and ranking. I made this decision based on Safari’s Top Sites on the Small setting! Hahaha. I liked seeing all my sites spread out like that.
This month is amazing. I’m about to hit my first four figure month, and breaking beyond that significantly! Things are growing so quickly. Increased revenue has allowed me to increase my outsourcing. I’ve been able to test out some really interesting link packages, and I’ve been getting articles written by the boat load.
Google’s new algorithm tweak for content above the fold didn’t hit any of my sites except one, and it only moved it down two spots on the front page. And I’ve already recovered one of those spots. A lot of other folks got thousands of sites hammered. That is why I build quality sites with quality content meant to engage users, not trick them into clicking. Not meant for robots to rank. Long-term business planning is the only sensible plan.
So these 26 domains land me in all kinds of niches and are meant to have activity all across the week. The idea is to get a nice, level, stable income rolling in. Right now I get huge spikes and dips. We’ll see how it goes.
By the way, keep looking at the four case studies that are still rolling! They are all making some interesting movement finally. I can’t wait for them to hit #1 so I can start reporting income! Keep grinding and thanks for reading.

you seem to be making great leaps forward at the moment! Keep the momentum up!
Where do you outsource your content? I’ve tried a few places so far and haven’t found anywhere up to standard!… must… keep… looking!!

None of my sites got hammered. This will be my best month.
May be many of them in not in top 50, because i not updated them from months. I am now moving towards bigger and better site. 100s of pages with huge quality with more risk.
Hey Jared, been following along and like the achievements so far, so keep it up!
Will you ever make a post on who you use as service providers for your backlinking, content etc?
Also.. you refer to high pr blog posts in your case studies, what exactly are you talking about? Build My Rank, ALN or something like that?
Thanks and again, keep the process going!

@Mart
Thanks! My content is outsourced to some guys I got connected to through a private skype chat room. They are not native English speakers, thus the cheaper price. It suffers in quality a little bit, but only in awkwardness. I can’t spread them around or they won’t have time for my own work! I hear Textbroker is a pretty good deal that gives you a quick turn around time. You pay a bit of a premium to get it hands off and get your files returned quickly though. I haven’t tried them but will one day.
@Rahul
I’m glad your sites survived the algorithm tweak. Rock on for best month ever! Me too. I’m hoping every month will be the best month ever. I hear you about authority sites. I think after I get a nice spread across niches and have a solid, steady income, I’ll begin working on a big authority site like you mention. I personally think its LESS risk because these type of sites get so much respect from the goog.
@Trends
I like your site! I’d never seen it before. Thanks for stopping by. As mentioned above, I’m not going to release the names of my writers, as they take a lot of jobs from me. They’d get stretched too thin with more work. However, I’ve heard great things about Textbroker. And I know you can find people you like on there and then send them work specifically. You don’t have to keep gambling on writers.
As far as the high PR blog posts, they are mostly private networks, but I’ve been trying ALN and I’m extremely pleased with it. I’ve considered scooping up some domains and opting in. Probably will pretty soon, honestly.
Good stuff Jared.
I’ve been experimenting with The Content Authority for general content for my sites. Their level 3 ( Excellent Level ) seems good enough to post on sites.
I’ve also used SEO Friendlies for LSI content for my home page. Pretty good stuff there.
Have heard good things about ALM, so i’ll check em out and test.
Thanks for stopping by my site. ( I need to update it more )
